I have grown up in Estonia, where traditional, local and seasonal foods were at our dinner table. Physical activity was part of everybody's life young and old, we used to walk to school, go skiing, go walking with my family, work in our garden where most of our veggies and fruit came. I was rarely sick, never had antibiotics in my whole youth. However at the age of 25, I've met the love of my life and moved to live in Belgium. I was shocked by the excess availability of food, by the excess consommation of everything, including medicaments. It got even worse when my first child was born - he was prescribed antibiotics for every single cold that he got. I've decided to learn more about living a healthy life in alignment with nature and seasons at the same time realising that nutrition is only part of the solution. My approach to health has always been holistic, looking at the person from 360 degrees' health perspective - nutrition is for me important but however only secondary part of nourishment, firstly people have to feel content in what they do in their life, find physical activity that suits them, find their mental stability and and feel appreciated and loved in their relationships.
