Blend together milk, matcha, frozen banana and Ashwagandha or Reishi powder. If you prefer a bit sweeter version, add a dollop of honey. Enjoy!
1 cup almond milk (any plant based milk will do)
1 frozen banana
1 teaspoon of matcha powder
1 teaspoon of Ashwagandha or Reishi powder (not crucial if you do not have)

Matcha powder is finely ground powder of specially grown and processed green tea leaves. It is special in two aspects of farming and processing: the green tea plants for matcha are shade-grown for about three weeks before harvest and their stems and veins are removed before processing. During shaded growth, the plant produced more theanine and caffeine, so matcha is much higher in these substances than normal green tea.
