Caramelised apples breakfast bowl

Prep Notes

1. Warm the coconut oil on a warm pan on medium heat, add apple chunks (not peeled), sauté 5-6 minutes.

2. Add the apple juice (any other juice that you have at home make the tric also), cinnamon and pinch of salt. Set heat to high and warm 4-5 minutes more. The juice should be coming more thick and apples caramelised.

3. Serve warm with almond butter and some seeds, granola or anything else crunchy on top. You could add as well pomegranate seeds when in season!

Ingredients

2 teaspoons coconut oil

2 apples, chopped into pieces (I prefer apple varieties which are not too sweet)

120 ml apple juice

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

pinch of sea salt

Add some protein: almond butter, hemp seeds

Add something crunchy: chopped nuts, seeds, granola
